As the Founder of HBC: Nannies + Sitters & Harmony Baby Concierge, I spend my days advocating for families, children and caregivers in an effort to raise the quality of care accessible to families with a structure that both advocates for domestic workers and supports families at-home and as they thrive in the corporate world. We partner with warm, empathetic and kind professional caregivers to provide a range of childcare services both directly to families & to corporations that wish to support working parents in leading successful professional lives that aren't hindered by a lack of quality family support.

I'm a former Nanny and Master Newborn Care Specialist, and although I spend my days full-time in office running two busy companies - my perspective as a former caregiver helps me daily to deeply connect with our staff, support them and therefore everyone better supports the families and companies we serve.

Kennedy is a former nanny & newborn care specialist who understands both sides of administration and caregiving. Kennedy works in collaboration with the hiring team and families to ensure a smooth operation from intake to billing and scheduling. She is passionate about serving both our clients and our team with empathy, understanding and fairness. She's heavily involved in day to day operations, pushing HBC forward to ensure family satisfaction, while fostering a supportive team environment for our staff.

Yessenia Dickinson

NANNY HIRING MANAGER

Yessenia also known as "Jessie", is an NCS, Mama to three and our Nanny Placement Coordinator. She joined our team in 2022 working in-home with clients and now joins us in our Deep Ellum office each week. As a former nanny and a mom to twins who has child-care needs she understands both sides of being a nanny and the parent perspective. She’s passionate about matching families with young children with their perfect nanny fit! Yessenia is passionate about only hiring nannies and sitters that she would entrust her own young children with, which brings comfort to HBC families.

We had a six-week contract with Harmony Baby Concierge for our newborn. As a FTM and days into postpartum, I was pretty hesitant, but Alexis and her team were exactly what we needed. My husband and I were able to get sleep and some great coaching about taking care of a newborn. We mainly had Kennedy as our night nurse. Super smart, kind, and great with our baby. the staff also answered questions even when they were not on the clock-a great resource especially for first time parents. I cannot recommend this company enough.
What is there to say?

I never thought I would use a baby sleep consultant, as I already had 1 great sleeper under my belt. Turns out my 2nd sweet babe was far more challenging :) Alexis was incredible to work with. I was skeptical that we could successfully get baby boy on a proper schedule through virtual consultation, but we absolutely did! And it wasn’t *always* fun but it truly wasn’t even that hard! Consistency is key, and Alexis had very helpful check-ins with us to monitor his progress. I am so grateful that little man is 10x happier, and so are mom, dad, and sis.
